Victor meets Heather at Crimson Lights and claims he understands Ashley conveyed her concerns about Adam with her. Heather assures Victor she has no interest in investigating Adam. He admits he is surprised she needs encouragement to do her job. Heather states her hands are tied because Adam has not done anything illegal. Victor reminds her she was not so fastidious when she prosecuted him. She asks Victor to provide more information regarding his concerns about Adam and leaves. Later, Victor arrives at the Abbott Mansion. He and Jack discuss Adam’s faults and both agree Adam is taking advantage of the Jabot deal. However, they each admit they took advantage of Adam’s dark side when he arrived in Genoa City. Victor tells Jack there is not enough proof to prosecute Adam for terrorizing his sister. Victor suggests they put their differences aside for Ashley’s sake and offers to take Jabot out of the equation. Jack assures Victor they will bring Adam down for what he did to Ashley. He suggests they return Jabot to Katherine and reinstate him as CEO. Victor agrees and Jack asks him about his plan. Victor states they will be working outside of the box and the law. Lily arrives at the Immigration Office and learns Michael is Cane’s lawyer. Cane appreciates his wife’s support but encourages her to go to the hospital for her scan. She tells him if he gets deported, she will go to Australia with him. Cane tells her she cannot leave Genoa City anytime soon and reminds her about their twins Mac is carrying. (more…)

Adam returns to the hotel suite where Sharon is waiting. He tells her he went to Kansas to visit Hope’s grave. His wife is livid. Sharon gives Adam a copy of Skye’s diary and tells him she was wrong to defend him. Adam realizes the diary is a copy and questions its’ validity. Sharon tells him he is a pathological liar and questions who he is. Adam tries to assure Sharon; Dr. Taylor would have never harmed Ashley. She reminds him she is tired of the men in her life lying to her and tells him she believes his feelings for her were an act. He claims his feelings are genuine and states she is the only reason he returned to Genoa City. He pleads for another chance and she tells him they are done. Sharon leaves and Adam is left in the suite alone where he sees a vision of Skye. She asks him why he gave her diary to Dr. Taylor. He tells her the diary cost him the only woman he has ever loved. Skye realizes Sharon was the only woman who was able to get Adam to care about someone other than himself. He tells Skye he will never give up on Sharon. Skye tells Adam he is delusional if he thinks there will be a happily ever after with Sharon. She reminds him of the things he has done and is surprised he didn’t cut his losses sooner. (more…)

In their suite at the Athletic Club, Sharon pours a glass of wine while she waits for Adam’s return. Sharon continues to read Skye’s diary and tells Adam’s photo she has lost so much already, she will not let him take anything else away from her. Sharon falls asleep and begins to dream she hears a baby crying. In the dream, she enters her suite and finds Skye waiting for her with a deck of cards. She asks Skye if it is her baby crying. Sharon tells Skye she didn’t deserve what happened to her. Skye invites Sharon to join her in a card game, claiming the stakes will be the baby. Skye deals and Sharon’s cards are blank. Sharon asks Skye why Adam would want to con her. Skye tells Sharon she knows what Adam is after. Skye suddenly turns into Phyllis and tells Sharon Adam married her to get back at Nick. As Sharon realizes her cards are still blank, Phyllis claims she won the card game and Nick. (more…)

Tucker arrives at the Chancellor Estate and Katherine is surprised to see him. He asks if she’s on the hunt for the newspaper clippings she left behind and he states his fate is in her hands. Katherine asks if he has questions for her. He requests her input on Chancellor Industries but she was referring to a more personal line of questioning. Tucker asks about his father. She tells him Arthur Andrews is a good man and suggest he would be proud of him. He asks if he is aware of his existence and Katherine confirms he does not. She admits he still may believe Jill is his daughter. Katherine admits to Tucker she was relieved when his father walked out on her, stating the man in question would have caused their lives to turn out very differently. She confesses Tucker’s characteristics are much like her own. Jill arrives and tells Tucker it was not long ago when she was in his position. Katherine asks Jill if she knows where Arthur is but Jill is not forthcoming. Jill states she believes Tucker is there for a cease fire. She tells him the only reason for doing so must be because Katherine is blackmailing him. Tucker denies the accusation. Jill asks Katherine why she is suddenly defending Tucker and not her. She receives a call from Billy requesting she meet him at the club. Later, Tucker tells Katherine she is not what he expected and both concur they are very much alike. Tucker thanks Katherine for an enlightened evening and states maybe someday they will discover something they like about each other. Katherine admits she already has. (more…)

As Emily/Patty regains consciousness, Patty/Emily attempts to suffocate her stating she is in the way. Emily/Patty screams for help. Paul enters calling his sister’s name and Emily/Patty tells Paul she is trying to kill me. Emily/Patty calls for Jack. She calls Patty/Emily Patty and tells Paul, who he thinks is Dr. Peterson, is actually his sister Patty. Patty/Emily tells Paul she thinks she should go but Paul asks her to stay. Emily/Patty begins to cry when Paul refers to her as his sister. Patty/Emily reminds Paul before the suicide attempt, Patty claimed she was her and tells Paul this is the ravings of a complete lunatic and she leaves. Paul thinks Dr. Peterson is being a bit harsh. He continues to console his thought-to-be sister and she continues to insist she is Emily. She asks Paul to bring Jack to her and Paul tells her Jack is no good for her. The doctor arrives and is encouraged to see Emily/Patty conscious. He tells Paul he expects her to make a full recovery. Later, Emily/Patty continues to try to convince Paul she is Dr. Peterson and becomes painfully aware she has been sedated. (more…)

Lily arrives at the Immigration Department where Cane is being held and learns they want to deport him. Cane asks about Lily’s scan and she states she did not take it. Cane tells Lily the Immigration Department is within its’ rights to deport him because he entered the United States under false pretenses. Lily is determined to stop this and Cane apologizes to her for putting her through this. She assures Cane she will not let them take him away. Cane encourages his wife to return to the hospital for her test and she tells him she will not go without him. Lily asks Cane if he remembers New Year’s Eve when she felt hopeless. She reminds him of his encouraging words and tells him they will only look forward to the future. Lily assures Cane they will beat this. (more…)

As an unconscious Emily lies in a hospital bed, Patty reads about trust issues from Dr. Peterson’s book and states Emily is now paying for the consequences. Jack receives a call from his attorney informing him a judge will hear the Jabot case this afternoon. Ashley arrives and tells Patty/Emily she must be excited about the big day and Patty/Emily assumes she means Delia’s birthday party. Ashley reminds her about the surprise for Jack and Patty seems clueless. The trio continue to discuss the Jabot deal and both Abbotts are surprised by Patty’s sudden interest in Jack’s revenge against Victor. (more…)

At Crimson Lights, Gloria begins a P.R. campaign on Jana’s behalf. Kevin becomes increasingly frustrated and Gloria tries to convince him not to give up. Michael arrives and informs Kevin; Jana has been put on the missing persons list. Daisy enters, seemingly concerned, and assures Kevin they will find her. Gloria’s antenna rises and Kevin tells his mother Jana did not trust Daisy. Michael asks Kevin why Jana seemed tense the last time they were together. Michael and Gloria question Kevin about Jana’s last doctor’s appointment. Kevin assures them she received a clean bill of health. Kevin wants to offer a million dollar reward, but Michael does not think it’s a good idea. Michael assures his brother everyone is doing all they can to help find her. Gloria encourages him to stay positive and not give up hope. Later, Jana trapped like a caged animal, screams for help but to no avail. (more…)

As JT prepares Reed a peanut butter and bacon sandwich, Victoria questions her son’s new favorite lunch. JT reminds her she has been gone awhile and his tastes have changed. Victoria begins to realize she is loosing touch with her son’s needs. JT quickly reminds Victoria her dedication to her father, instead of her family, is the primary cause of their divorce. Nikki arrives as JT is leaving and can see her daughter and son-in-law are still struggling. Nikki reminds Victoria she is a good mother and suggests she move into the main house with Reed. Victoria does not want to live under the same roof as her father. Nikki encourages Victoria to talk with her father about their recent disagreement concerning her position at Jabot. (more…)
