A drunken Billy continues to celebrate at Jimmy’s Bar. Mac tries to help him and he is surprised she still cares. Out in the bitter cold Billy throws the snow globe Delia gave him in the air to celebrate the new year and it breaks. As he attempts to fix it John appears and tells him not to bother. John claims he is “Father Time” and transports Billy to Restless Style. Billy pleads with his father to give him his buzz back. He insists he wants him sober during their journey. As the citizens of Genoa City begin to celebrate New Year’s Eve, Malcolm’s visit surprises the Winters’ family. Lily is elated but Neil is not as welcoming to his brother. Lily learns Malcolm received her letter and he congratulates her and Cane on their marriage. Malcolm asks about Lily’s illness and Neil assures him she is receiving the best care possible. Neil asks to speak to his brother outside and rails on him about his absence for the past five years. Malcolm reminds Neil he is the one that demanded he stay out of his life. Later Lily’s condition seems to be improving and she encourages Cane to help Mac at the bar. (more…)

As the Christmas festivities wind down at the Baldwins’ Eden thanks Michael and Lauren for giving her a normal life. She and Noah give Michael a Jim Morrison book and Eden thanks Michael for taking care of her. Kevin also thanks his brother for everything he has done for him and gives Michael a silver chipmunk. Daisy tries to make nice with Eden but she doesn’t fall for Daisy’s ploy. Eden tells her she saw her hug Ryder outside of Fenmores and tells the group Daisy and Ryder are friends. At the Abbott Mansion Jack questions what Emily said to him earlier and she replies she loves him. She tells him she never felt this way before and does not want it to end, but Jack claims it has to. Jack puts on his coat and Emily is surprised he is leaving. Billy arrives with presents and Emily tells him Jack is not home. She asks him to stay and tells him Jack really cares about his family. The Twittermille has reported Michelle Stafford has become a new mom. A surrogate delivered Michelle’s baby girl on December 21. Our sincere congratulations to our favorite red head.

As all prepare for Christmas Eve on The Young and the Restless, Katherine and Murphy continue their good deed selling trees for charity. Tucker arrives and he and Katherine begin to negotiate. Nina approaches Jill and tells her she knows about the present she is planning for Katherine. Jill pleads with Nina to keep her secret. Gloria and Jeff stop by to purchase a wreath and she and Jill vie for Tucker’s attention. Katherine encourages Tucker to make a generous donation along with his tree purchase and they both come to terms with a deal they can agree on. She invites Tucker to Christmas dinner and he accepts.
