Today’s Recap of The Young and the Restless December 4, 2009

 

 

As Phyllis leaves for Daniel’s hearing, Noah arrives asking “The Bank of Dad” for funds towards Christmas shopping. He tells Nick he wants to buy something special for Sharon this year. Nick tells Noah how upset Sharon was about the memorial for Faith. Nick sympathizes with Sharon and tells Noah he owes her an apology.

 

Meanwhile at Sharon’s she reflects back on the conversation she had with Nick about the memorial and realizes she overreacted. Adam calls as she attempts to send Nick an email to apologize. Adam arrives with flowers. She tells him she does not want to see him as often. When she leaves to put the flowers in water Adam reads the email she wrote to Nick and sends it. She returns and invites Adam to dinner, he kisses her and they go upstairs.

 

Phyllis meets Daniel at the courthouse along with Michael and Kevin. Michael encourages Daniel to plead the fifth. He tells him by answering Heather’s questions, he will be incriminating himself. Daniel and Amber question Michael’s judgment. He tells them the DA’s office already has a warrant for his arrest. Ryder arrives and wishes Daniel good luck. Victoria and JT arrive. JT receives a call from his boss instructing him to “do it now”. He leaves Victoria alone at the courthouse to testify. Deacon arrives and tells Daniel about the conversation he had with Amber earlier and assures Daniel he will keep his wife warm while he is in prison. Phyllis has had enough of Deacon and throws her drink in his face. Deacon is called in to testify. Daniel starts to panic and tells Michael he cannot go back to prison. After Victoria’s testimony she approaches the group and assures Daniel everything will be fine. She tells him she told the Grand Jury Daniel was responsible for returning the Terroni back to the museum. Daniel is called into testify. He takes Michael’s advice and refuses to answer Heather’s questions until he can’t handle it anymore and tells her about the third man in the alley. Heather gets what she needs. Later Michael asks Daniel if he listened to his advice and Daniel admits he gave into Heather’s questioning. Michael tells Daniel to go home and get some rest. He approaches Heather and tells her he is not proud of the bribe he offered her earlier. He assures her he plans on telling the DA about her actions and he feels she has a vendetta against Daniel. In true Michael Baldwin style he tells her he will take her actions to the highest level. She tells him he is blackmailing her and he reminds her she is not wired. When Michael asks again for Deacon’s and Ryder’s testimonies, she walks away. Michael proceeds to call the DA and Heather returns stating Deacon and Ryder pled the fifth.

 

Katherine and Jack enjoy breakfast at the Athletic Club. Katherine asks Jack for the real reason he invited her. She tells him she is ready for his pitch to allow him to join the IPO. He gives her a letter she wrote to John decades ago wishing him well when he started Jabot. Jack asks Katherine to allow him to purchase the stock in the name of his father. Katherine is grateful John kept the letter written so long ago. As Jack plays on Katherine’s emotions, she tells him he does not play fair. She tells Jack if she allows him to invest it will be with limitations. Katherine is upset Jack played the John card but she ultimately concedes. Jack tells Katherine by loosing control of Jabot he broke his father’s heart. Katherine reminds Jack John’s heart was not his business, his heart was his children. Jack thanks Katherine for the opportunity. Later Katherine returns home. JT arrives and tells her he is working for Tucker McCall. Katherine is impressed. He tells her Mr. McCall wants to make a significant investment in the Chancellor Stock offering.

 

Later Jack arrives at Phyllis’s and tells her about Sharon’s involvement with Adam. Phyllis reminds Jack Nick is no longer Sharon’s “knight in shining armor”. Michael arrives and tells Phyllis about Ryder and Deacon’s testimony. Daniel and Amber return to Crimson Lights where Daniel is arrested for murder.

 

Back at Sharon’s, Nick arrives and lets himself in. When he can’t find Sharon, he proceeds upstairs and finds Sharon and Adam in bed together.
