Today’s Recap of The Young and the Restless December 7, 2009

 

 

At Restless Style Chloe reminds Billy Mac is not coming back to him. She continues to fling digs at Billy and tells him again she no longer loves him. She suggests he stay off the booze and tells him to take a shower because he reeks. Rory, the pharmaceutical heiress who will be on Restless Style’s cover, arrives for her photo shoot.

 

As Mac is preparing to leave for the hospital, Katherine offers to take her. Mac declines. Katherine reminds Mac her upcoming procedure is not routine and feels she should have someone with her. Lily and Cane arrive to take Mac to the hospital for the implantation. At the hospital Cane plays the nervous father-to-be. He leaves to get coffee and Lily stays by Mac’s side. Lily calls Neil and he tells his daughter this is what he wants for her as well. Although later he confides to Ashley he is afraid his daughter will be disappointed.

 

Amber visits Daniel in jail. He becomes upset when he sees her wedding ring and tells her the guards made him remove his. Phyllis arrives and assures Daniel they will get him out of jail. She tells Daniel both Ryder and Deacon pled the fifth. Amber leaves to give Phyllis and Daniel some time alone. Daniel asks Phyllis to look after Amber while he is in jail. As Daniel starts to feel sorry for himself, Phyllis assures him she is not going anywhere. She tells him she knows how he feels and tells him to remind himself he will not be there long. She promises him there is no way she is going to let this be his life. She asks him who he knows that is a “bitch on wheels”. When he realizes she is talking about herself he asks his mother not to try to fix this. She assures Daniel she will get him out of jail and tells her son she may not be able to fix Thanksgiving dinner, but she can fix this! Later Amber returns to see Daniel and both admit they are scared.

 

Jack greets Ashley at the Athletic Club. Jack is glowing and Ashley wants to know why. Jack tells her Katherine has allowed him in on the IPO. He wants to consolidate their shares to get control of Jabot. Katherine and Neil arrive and Jack raises his glass to them. Later, Ashley asks Jack to follow-up with Billy and he reluctantly agrees.

 

Sharon and Adam are surprised to see Nick standing in Sharon’s bedroom doorway. Nick is shocked to see Sharon in bed with Adam and walks away. Sharon goes after him. She demands to know why he entered her home in the middle of the day. He insists she sent him an email inviting him over. She claims she wrote but never sent the email. He questions her judgment about her involvement with Adam. He tries to convince her she is Adam’s new plan to get back at him. Adam reminds Nick Sharon is no longer his wife, Phyllis is. Nick leaves and Sharon is upset he found out about Adam this way. Adam offers Sharon an out but she does not accept it. She admits she likes how Adam treats her. He tells her exactly what she wants to hear, that she is strong and does not need saving. He tells her he will be there for her regardless of what anyone thinks.

 

Back at the Athletic Club Katherine tells Neil about her message from Tucker McCall and Neil thinks it is great news. Katherine is not so sure. She reminds Neil the IPO was suppose to benefit family and friends. Now she will need to tell them about Tucker McCall’s interest and his influence.

 

Later at Crimson Lights Nick meets Noah and asks about Sharon’s relationship with Adam. Noah is not forthcoming and feels his mother wants to keep it a secret. Nick asks Noah to live with him on a part time basis. Noah tells his father he wants to remain at Sharon’s because he feels his mother needs him now.

 

As Cane picks up coffee and éclairs at Crimson Lights, he runs into Billy. He tells him Mac still loves him and he should put aside his feelings about the surrogacy and be there for her. Billy becomes irate and Jack intercedes. Jack, realizing his brother is going through a lot, encourages him to look towards the future. Billy tells him the here and now sucks! Billy returns to Restless Style where a woman appears and offers Billy information on Victoria Newman’s testimony to the Grand Jury. Billy is all ears.

 

Back at the Athletic Club Phyllis meets Nick. He can see she is upset about Daniel. When she asks him what is troubling him he tells her it is not worth mentioning.
