At a pub in New York, Billy and Victoria find themselves snowed-in together. Billy asks about her trip to Dubai and Victoria claims she was working hard the whole time. She notices the truck load of presents Billy purchased for Delia’s birthday. Victoria will not be returning home empty handed, she has her own pile of presents for Reed and a gift for JT to celebrate their anniversary. She asks Billy if he listened to her advice while she was gone. He shows her the latest copy of Restless Style with Victor adorning the cover. She becomes annoyed with Billy until he assures her the interview was her father’s idea. After reading the article, Victoria claims she has no comment and asks Billy how he can live with himself. As the duo continues with rounds of verbal volleyball and glasses of green beer, Victoria realizes she is going to miss her anniversary. Billy, enjoying a shot and a beer at Jimmy’s, calls Heather and tells her how much he enjoyed her company. Mac enters and Billy is surprised to learn about Tucker’s claim of being Katherine’s son. In the meantime, Daisy meets Ryder in front of Jimmy’s and states she wants Eden gone. Kevin arrives and Daisy disappears. Kevin offers his lost brother money, enters the bar and sits next to Billy. Mac receives a call from Murphy requesting moral support for Katherine. The trio agrees to behave and proceed to the estate. (more…)

At the Athletic Club, while Lauren is resting a sprained ankle, Michael encourages his wife to take better care of herself. She asks him to escort her to her newly decorated office at Fenmore. They arrive and Lauren is pleased with the results and appropriately thanks her husband. Daisy enters and interrupts them. Michael receives a call from Heather and learns the evidence from the gym bag has been analyzed. Daisy overhears his conversation and leaves. (more…)

At the Abbott Mansion Jack questions what Emily said to him earlier and she replies she loves him. She tells him she never felt this way before and does not want it to end, but Jack claims it has to. Jack puts on his coat and Emily is surprised he is leaving. Billy arrives with presents and Emily tells him Jack is not home. She asks him to stay and tells him Jack really cares about his family. As Billy tries to come to terms with what’s wrong with his life, Emily invites him to Christmas dinner. (more…)

Jack brings Emily home to the Abbott Mansion and surprises her with a beautiful live tree. He invites her to help decorate and tells her the boxes of ornaments are filled with love because they are full of memories. As Adam and Sharon share breakfast at the Athletic Club, she tells him they no longer need to hide their relationship. Michael arrives and is surprised to see Adam enjoying a leisurely breakfast since he recently regained power at Newman. Adam assures Michael he will not be over eager this time and tells Sharon he realizes he needs to regain the trust of those around him. Later Michael meets Lauren for breakfast and she tells him about the rat planted at her store. Both feel Ryder is responsible.

At Crimson Lights Kevin wants to tell Deacon about the evidence they found last night but Jana and Ryder think otherwise. Amber tells Phyllis she needs something positive to focus on and decides to give Daniel a party when he is released from jail. Amber, unaware of Phyllis’s plan, thanks her monster-in-law for treating her well. Phyllis calls Deacon and assures him their plan is still on.

Billy meets with Rafe in prison. Rafe tries to convince his client to name his source so he can be released, but Billy refuses to do so. Daniel returns to his cell and Billy asks him what is bugging him. Daniel tells him he is not pleased with the direction he has taken Restless Style, particularly on the expose about Victoria’s testimony. He tells Billy everyone has been hurt in their lives, but he and Victor Newman are the only ones that carry a vengeance.

At Newman Jack arrives to discuss with Nick Sharon’s relationship with Adam. Jack feels it is up to them to stop Sharon and Nick tells Jack he’s done involving himself in Sharon’s business. Nick reminds Jack about the diary he and Adam wrote to frame Victor for murder. Jack tells Nick he would do it again given the opportunity. Nick suggests they back away from the situation and assures Jack he wants no part of the games he, Adam and Victor play. He tells Jack he should walk away.

Back at Crimson Lights Michael delivers a restraining order to Ryder. Kevin comes to Ryder’s defense. Kevin’s family pleads with him not to get sucked into Ryder’s stories. Later Kevin tells Ryder he is well aware of his abilities to strike out and asks Ryder not to attend Daniel’s party. Kevin later tells Jana he was proud of Ryder for standing up for himself. Jana suggests Ryder is playing him. Kevin still feels there is hope for his half brother but assures Jana once he realizes there is none, he will be out of their lives.

Adam arrives at Newman with the National Air file Nick has been looking for and reminds Nick they are now partners in the deal. Phyllis enters and suggests to Nick he needs to work things out with Adam for the sake of Newman Enterprises. Later Adam approaches Phyllis and congratulates her on Daniel’s upcoming release. When she questions his right to be there he reminds her how upset her husband becomes when Sharon dates other men.

Jack pays Sharon a visit and offers her a job. When she realizes the position would require extensive travel she understands this is Jack’s attempt at keeping her away from Adam. She tells Jack to leave. Phyllis arrives and questions Sharon’s motives about her relationship. She assures Phyllis her relationship with Adam has nothing to do with Nick. Phyllis congratulates Sharon for being an independent woman for all of one month.

Back at the prison Daniel is approach by the inmate Deacon has hired. Billy senses trouble and threatens the inmate. Daniel is grateful. Later Jack visits Daniel and he thanks him for helping his mom find the evidence at the landfill. He tells Jack Billy is his new cell mate and asks Jack to visit him. Jack meets with Billy and Billy tells Jack he thought he washed his hands of him. Jack tries to convince his little brother to control his anger and Billy become belligerent. Jack tells him he is a lost cause.

Adam arrives at Sharon’s and lets himself in. She tells him about Jack’s offer and Phyllis’s accusations. They begin to kiss and Sharon tells him she will meet him upstairs but she needs to do something first. She calls Nick and tells him to reign in his wife. Nick questions Phyllis’s whereabouts. She lies and tells him she had a meeting.

As Jill awakens in Tucker’s bed, he greets her with a cup of coffee. She tells him they need to talk and he tells her he likes to separate business from pleasure. As both are suspicious of each other, they agree they have no ulterior motives about their relationship. She tells him she is planning on talking Katherine out of accepting his offer. When he asks why, she tells him she has done her homework and does not feel his investment would be in Chancellor Industry’s best interest. He tells her if she can get Katherine to turn down his deal he will pay her one million dollars.

At the hospital, Amber is concerned about Daniel’s safety when he returns to prison. Daniel can see the fear in his brides face and suggests they take advantage of the time they have together. Deacon calls Amber’s cell phone and tells her he is sorry for Daniel’s “accident” and reminds Amber how dangerous prison can be. Daniel tells Amber not to be afraid of Deacon and reminds her they will have a future together. He tries to distract her by giving her an imaginary Christmas present. He describes a new cell phone, encrusted with pink crystals, with a screen saver of their wedding picture.

In the meantime, Nick meets Phyllis at the landfill and offers to help her with the search. Phyllis realizes they are looking for a needle in a haystack. Michael, Lauren and half of Genoa City show up to help her, Katherine Chancellor included. Phyllis is overwhelmed by her friends’ generosity. Heather arrives and Phyllis is surprised Michael called her.

As Daisy tells Ryder he needs to be more careful, Abby calls and tells her she is at the landfill helping her family find the evidence to free Daniel. Ryder tells Daisy to get over there. She arrives and Lauren is glad she came to help. Eden finds the gym bag and Heather searches the contents. The black ski cap Daniel insists was worn by the third man in the alley is in the bag. Heather takes the bag to the police station and Daisy becomes concerned.

Back at the hospital, Amber and Daniel receive a call from Phyllis telling them they found the bag of evidence at the landfill. The couple is thrilled to finally have hope.

At Crimson Lights the scavenger hunters return to celebrate. Katherine tells Jack and Nick about Tucker’s interest in the IPO. She tells them he is interested in the entire 25% offering and apologizes to them for having to withdrawal her offer. She thanks them for their  understanding. In the meantime, Eden questions Daisy about her presence at the landfill and Daisy becomes defensive. Later Eden tells Lauren not to trust Daisy but Lauren thinks otherwise. Lauren questions Ryder about his whereabouts the night she found the rat in her store and once again he evades her questions. Later Lauren talks with her exterminator about the rat. He tells her the rat in question was purchased at a pet store and she realizes the critter was planted there.

Phyllis remains at the landfill and finds the cells phone in question.  She later meets Nick at Crimson Lights but does not tell him about her discovery. She receives a call from Amber telling her of the previous conversation she had with Deacon and is concerned about Daniel’s safety in prison. Phyllis tells Nick she will meet him later and leaves to find Deacon.

Michael and Heather arrive at the hospital and tell Daniel Heather has requested a bail hearing. Unfortunately it will not be for a few days and Daniel needs to return to prison. Daniel thanks his friends for their help. He takes a package from Kevin and gives it to Amber. It is the cell phone he described earlier. Daniel is escorted back to prison where he finds Billy Abbott as his new cell mate.

Phyllis meets Deacon at the Athletic Club with the cell phone containing his voice messages. Deacon tells Phyllis she does not have enough evidence to send him to jail. She makes Deacon an offer he can’t refuse. If he leaves town with Amber, she will not give the phone to the Feds. Nick arrives and asks his wife why she is talking with Deacon. She tells him she is hungry, and they walk away. Deacon is intrigued with Phyllis’s offer.

Jill arrives home at the Chancellor Estate and Murphy tells her Katherine is with Tucker finalizing their deal. When Katherine returns home Jill congratulates her. Later Jack arrives at Tucker’s and introduces himself. Tucker tells him he has followed his career and regrets not knowing John. After Jack leaves, Tucker is sure he has most of his players in place.

Chance’s family arrives at the Athletic Club for his accommodation and all are proud. As he is swept away by the powers that be he asks Chloe to stand by his side. The DA greets the gathering with accolades for Chance and awards his accommodation. Before the photographer can take his picture he asks for Chloe. She claims it is his moment but he insists she join him. All return to the Chancellor Estate to celebrate.

As Mac and Billy continue their kiss, she apologizes and tells Billy they need to face reality. She reminds him of her appointment at the fertility clinic tomorrow. When she asks him if he could support her during her pregnancy he assures her he is in their relationship to “win it” and will not give up on them. Mac is distracted by a phone call and Billy’s “Manhattan” girl arrives. She asks Billy if they could pick up where they left off when she returns to Genoa City. It doesn’t take Mac long to figure out Billy slept with her. He claims it did not mean anything. Mac tells him he cannot be the man she relies on because the man she loved no longer exists.

Phyllis, Daniel and Amber continue to discuss Daniel’s case at the tack house. Daniel teases his mom about the possibility of him going back to jail. Phyllis does not think it is funny. Daniel suspects his wife and mother are up to something. When Amber blurts out the possibility of running, Daniel becomes angry and leaves.

At Crimson Lights Kevin encourages Ryder to tell the Grand Jury about Deacon’s involvement in the art theft and the murder. Ryder approaches Jana and tells her he can’t tell Kevin what he wants to hear. Jana reminds Ryder Kevin is offering him the love and loyalty of a brother and he is blowing him off. She tells him he can prove himself to Kevin by telling him who the woman in the car was the night of the murder. She asks if she is more loyal to him than Kevin. When he does not answer she calls him a fool. Later Kevin assures Daniel there is nothing more Ryder can tell them. He feels Ryder was played by Deacon. He tells Daniel he told Ryder if he does not come through for him, they are no longer brothers. As Daniel and Kevin continue to ask Ryder questions, Daisy arrives accusing Ryder of being a liar. She tells them Ryder was the one responsible for sending Lauren the rat. Later Daisy calls Ryder to rehearse his Grand Jury testimony and he hangs up on her.

Michael arrives at the courthouse and overhears Heather’s conversation. He learns she already has an arrest warrant for Daniel. Michael is livid Heather jumped the gun and reminds her of her previous errors. When he realizes the DA is unaware of her actions he tells her she may be brought up on misconduct charges. In return Michael requests copies of the sealed Grand Jury testimonies.

Later Phyllis and Amber arrive at the court house and Phyllis pleads Daniel’s case to Michael. He tells her there is a chance Daniel will be arrested again. When amber asks about bail, Michael realizes the duo have a plan. When he learns the conversation that transpired earlier he becomes irate and tells the them it is a bad idea. Phyllis insists she will not let Heather railroad her son. Michael tells her the best thing she can do is trust him. He assures her he will represent Daniel as if he were his own son and asks the ladies to leave. Later Heather assures Michael she will not give him the testimony from the Grand Jury and tells him to go to hell.

Back at the Chancellor Estate all toast Chance. Jill gives a digging toast on Nina’s behalf claiming with no family influence, Chance should be very proud of the man he has become. Chance thanks Chloe for being by his side and she tells him it meant a lot to her as well. Later Chloe tells Katherine her advice about Chance was helpful. Chloe leaves to retrieve her purse from work. Jill enters and tells Katherine she thinks it is convenient Chloe would leave Chance’s party for the opportunity to see Billy. Katherine insists Chloe will prove her wrong.

Later at Restless Style Mac assures Billy he can’t change for anyone. He pleads with her not to walk out on him. She tells him his actions have made her decision easier. Mac leaves and Chloe enters. She asks Billy if he is ok and she realizes he is not. He is surprised Chloe is willing to leave and let him wallow alone. She tells him she does not love him anymore and walks out
