As JT prepares Reed a peanut butter and bacon sandwich, Victoria questions her son’s new favorite lunch. JT reminds her she has been gone awhile and his tastes have changed. Victoria begins to realize she is loosing touch with her son’s needs. JT quickly reminds Victoria her dedication to her father, instead of her family, is the primary cause of their divorce. Nikki arrives as JT is leaving and can see her daughter and son-in-law are still struggling. Nikki reminds Victoria she is a good mother and suggests she move into the main house with Reed. Victoria does not want to live under the same roof as her father. Nikki encourages Victoria to talk with her father about their recent disagreement concerning her position at Jabot. (more…)

Malcolm signs his contract with Restless Style and Billy is thrilled to have him on board. Lily arrives and offers to take Malcolm out to celebrate. He suggests they return to Lily’s apartment because there is something he wants to privately discuss with her. Malcolm asks Lily if she would consider working with him on his Restless Style debut. He wants to tell a story of survival and thinks Lily would be the perfect spokesperson. She is hesitant at first because she never wanted cancer to define her. He refers to her as a warrior and claims he understands she does not want to be the poster girl for cancer but suggests they take a few test shots. He assures her if she is not happy, he will drop the entire idea. Lily returns wearing a wig for the first time. She admits to Malcolm putting the wig on makes her feel like she is surrendering. Lily and Malcolm view the photos and she is pleased with the results. Cane arrives and assumes Malcolm is trying to exploit Lily. Malcolm leaves and Lily tells her husband he should have not jumped to conclusions. Cane admits he does not trust Malcolm. Lily tells Cane Malcolm has made her see herself through new eyes. Cane is concerned Lily may not want her story made public. She tells him she may be helpful to someone else walking in her shoes. Cane still believes his wife was crying when he returned home but she convinces him they were happy tears. Lily admits she saw strength and courage in the photos. She recalls previous photo shoots and realizes beauty is truly from within. Cane is moved by his wife’s revelation. (more…)

As Jack and Emily share breakfast at the Athletic Club and admire their engagement announcement in the newspaper, Jack orders champagne to celebrate their upcoming nuptials as well as the Jabot purchase. Paul arrives, newspaper in hand, expressing his concern how their wedding announcement will affect Patty. Emily assures Paul Patty will not see it because she does not have access to a newspaper. Paul leaves and Jack gives Emily a gift, a bikini. He states they will be going somewhere warm on their honeymoon. She suggests she book a room at the club for the night before their wedding. Chloe arrives and the couple continues to firm up their wedding plans. Chloe asks Jack who he plans on asking to be his best man. Jack enlists his brother Billy who is touched and agrees. Chloe and Emily leave for the Abbott Mansion to meet with the florist. Billy joins Jack and each toast each other to new beginnings. (more…)

Victor arrives at the ranch to visit with Faith and to discuss property arrangements with Ashley. He suggests he buy the adjacent property to the ranch for Ashley and the girls. When Ashley realizes Victor is trying to buy his way back to the ranch, she becomes irate and tells him she is glad she is no longer married to him. Abby overhears her parents fighting and tells them her family tells her nothing but lies. She states she wishes she could divorce both of them and leaves. Noah intercedes and promises to find her. Ashley tells Victor she does not want to cause their daughter additional stress and he agrees. Ashley claims Abby is yearning for stability. He tells her he does not want their children to suffer because of their disagreements. Ashley reminds Victor about Adam and how he feels the constant need to compete with Victoria and Nicholas. Katherine arrives at the Athletic Club to join the meeting of the minds about the Chancellor reacquisition. Neil assures her they have many tricks up their sleeves. Cane enters and pleads with Katherine not to blame herself. Neil claims Tucker has called a meeting with all of the department heads of Chancellor Industries. Jill calls Cane and requests his presence at the meeting. Katherine slips and tells Cane Jill is sleeping with Tucker. Cane is devastated Jill lied to him. Katherine is convinced Jill was involved in Tucker’s plan from the beginning. (more…)

A hunger over Billy awakens in his trailer and tries to remember the events of the previous evening. He finds Victoria’s scarf and remembers her trying to help him. He recalls her picking him up from the snow and putting him in her car. He asks her why she is helping him, since they hate each other. She tells him her New Year’s resolution was to be kind to animals. Billy claims he can be nice too and claims he is misunderstood. She reminds him of what he did to her. (more…)

A drunken Billy continues to celebrate at Jimmy’s Bar. Mac tries to help him and he is surprised she still cares. Out in the bitter cold Billy throws the snow globe Delia gave him in the air to celebrate the new year and it breaks. As he attempts to fix it John appears and tells him not to bother. John claims he is “Father Time” and transports Billy to Restless Style. Billy pleads with his father to give him his buzz back. He insists he wants him sober during their journey. He tells his son he is not a journalist he is proud of and tells him he peddles garbage. (more…)

At the tack house Phyllis realizes Nick never came home last night. Nick calls from a small airport and tells her there is evidence the Newman plane crashed. A crew member arrives and tells Nick about Sharon’s injuries. (more…)

Today’s Recap of The Young and the Restless December 11, 2009

Cane meets Lily and Mac at Crimson Lights where Lily tells her husband her blood count is good and all anxiously await the results of Mac’s pregnancy test. Lily assures Mac she will be able to move on if Mac does not become pregnant. Lily and Cane leave as Billy arrives. Mac tells him she is aware of the latest article he wrote about Victoria and Billy defends himself. Mac tells him she is waiting for the pregnancy results.

At the Chancellor Estate Katherine and Neil prepare for their meeting with Tucker McCall. Neil admires his accomplishments but Katherine is still hesitant whether to allow Mr. McCall to invest in the IPO. Jill arrives beaming from her trip to New York and her new found friend.

Meanwhile, JT introduces Tucker McCall to his new office. Mr. McCall is the thought-to-be bartender Jill met in New York. As he sees the Chancellor Building across the street he relays to JT he’s been waiting a long time for this. Mr. McCall asks JT about Neil and he tells him Neil was undervalued at Newman. When he inquires about Jill, JT feels she is undecided whether to allow him to invest in the IPO which will eventually make Jill a very wealthy woman. Tucker is not worried about Jill at all.

Billy meets with Rafe about his case. Rafe encourages Billy to answer all of the questions at the hearing. Billy is determined not to reveal his source. They arrive at the courthouse and are surprised to see Victoria and JT there. The judge tells Billy to reveal his source or he will hold him in contempt. Billy refuses and is arrested. Later JT tells Victoria she was right to go after Billy, she apologizes to her husband again for the affair and the humiliation.

Michael meets Phyllis at the hospital where he tells her Daniel was injured in prison. Phyllis is furious Daniel cannot be released on bail. As Amber takes care of her injured husband, Phyllis promises him she will not let him be locked up again. Michael summons Heather and requests his client be put into protective custody. She enters Daniels room and Phyllis asks her what she is going to do to keep her son safe. Daniel tells her about the inmate Deacon visited yesterday. She feels there is no connection and leaves. Daniel asks Michael to look after his mom. Michael finds Phyllis in the hall where she tells him she is going to the landfill to find the evidence she needs to clear Daniel. Michael tries to talk her out of it but Phyllis is last seen sorting through trash, desperately trying to find anything that will help free her son.

Katherine and Neil meet Tucker McCall at Jabot. Katherine is direct and asks him his intentions concerning his purchase of the Chancellor Stock. He claims he is looking for an alliance. Jill arrives and is stunned to see her new bartender friend is in fact the infamous Tucker McCall. Katherine introduces her to Mr. McCall and Jill is left with her mouth wide open. As the group continues to discuss the IPO, Tucker makes it clear he wants to purchase the entire 25% available. Katherine is offended by the offer and informs Mr. McCall she already has offered part of the stock to family and friends. Neil intervenes with an offer of less than 25% but Tucker declines. He acknowledges Jill and leaves. Jill accuses Tucker of being a liar and tells Katherine she should never trust him. Neil still feels Tucker’s investment would be beneficial to Chancellor. Katherine is on the fence but later tells Neil she thinks Tucker McCall would be a worthwhile asset to Chancellor Industries.

Later Jill arrives at Tucker’s office and asks him what kind of game he’s playing. When he reminds her she walked into his hotel where he was pouring himself a drink, she is the one who assumed he was a bartender. She claims if she knew who he really was she would never have slept with him. He kisses her and knows he has Jill right where he wants her.

Back at the Chancellor Estate Mac, Lily and Cane receive the news Mac is pregnant and the trio rejoices!
