As JT prepares Reed a peanut butter and bacon sandwich, Victoria questions her son’s new favorite lunch. JT reminds her she has been gone awhile and his tastes have changed. Victoria begins to realize she is loosing touch with her son’s needs. JT quickly reminds Victoria her dedication to her father, instead of her family, is the primary cause of their divorce. Nikki arrives as JT is leaving and can see her daughter and son-in-law are still struggling. Nikki reminds Victoria she is a good mother and suggests she move into the main house with Reed. Victoria does not want to live under the same roof as her father. Nikki encourages Victoria to talk with her father about their recent disagreement concerning her position at Jabot. (more…)

Traci arrives home to the Abbott Mansion for Jack’s wedding. She consoles Jack for the loss of Jabot. He questions her ability to care about others after she has lost so much. She states now more than ever, they need to celebrate the good things in life. Jack, Ashley and Traci recall their memories at the Abbott Mansion and Jack states he is planning on making many more.  He receives a call informing him the priest scheduled to perform his wedding ceremony had an emergency and Father Todd, Paul’s brother, will fill in for him. Billy returns home from New York and arrives at Crimson Lights where he is surprised to see Chloe and Mac sitting together. He searches for the tiara he purchased for Delia and realizes Victoria must have it. Mac questions Billy’s good mood and Chloe states she likes the new and improved version. Chloe and Billy begin to discuss Restless Style business and she claims she has an idea for their next issue; dysfunctional families. She suggests an article about him and Jack. She reminds him Jack’s wedding is tomorrow and asks him to reconsider attending his brother’s wedding. (more…)

At a pub in New York, Billy and Victoria find themselves snowed-in together. Billy asks about her trip to Dubai and Victoria claims she was working hard the whole time. She notices the truck load of presents Billy purchased for Delia’s birthday. Victoria will not be returning home empty handed, she has her own pile of presents for Reed and a gift for JT to celebrate their anniversary. She asks Billy if he listened to her advice while she was gone. He shows her the latest copy of Restless Style with Victor adorning the cover. She becomes annoyed with Billy until he assures her the interview was her father’s idea. After reading the article, Victoria claims she has no comment and asks Billy how he can live with himself. As the duo continues with rounds of verbal volleyball and glasses of green beer, Victoria realizes she is going to miss her anniversary. The senior Newmans return home to the Athletic Club with Segundo in tow. Victor relates to Nikki he feels his sons’ behavior is their way of gaining his approval. Nikki refers to Victor as King Solomon, and suggests the king should take back his castle. As the conversation turns to Adam and Sharon, Nikki realizes how torn apart her family is. Mac and Cane arrive at Jimmy’s beaming about the news of the twins. JT enters and tells Mac Tucker now has controlling interest of Chancellor Industries. The Twittermille has reported Michelle Stafford has become a new mom. A surrogate delivered Michelle’s baby girl on December 21. Our sincere congratulations to our favorite red head.

Also, Ameilia Heinle and Thad Luckinbill welcomed their second child, a baby girl, into their family. Best wishes to Y&R’s real life couple.

Last but not least, Christel Khalil Hensley (Lily Winters Ashby), has announced she is expecting her first child. Best of luck to Christel with her pregnancy.

Nick questions Phyllis about her secret and she tells him he is not upset with her, he is upset because he can’t help Sharon. He invites her to help decorate and tells her the boxes of ornaments are filled with love because they are full of memories. Jack runs into Emily at the Athletic Club and asks her to spend Christmas with him. She agrees and the couple shares a drink together. He asks her about Patty and she confides in him she was hoping for a bigger breakthrough. She admits to Jack she feels it is time to assign Patty to another doctor. He tells her if she needs to walk away from Patty’s case she should not have any regrets and kisses her. Ashley arrives and is glad to see her brother in a better mood. Jack tells Ashley he is concerned about Tucker McCall’s intentions concerning Jabot. Ashley tries to encourage her brother to redefine his life and not let all of his happiness be based on Jabot. He reminds her Jabot is their future and she suggests he find a new beginning, something or someone that will bring meaning to his life. (more…)
